I CAN'T MOVE - OUT NOW!

Picture a cold, grey winter day – I'm on my way to grab Chinese food, and my car decides to break down. As a 24-year-old girl, my initial reaction was? Tears, of course. But, after calling my dad and getting a tow truck en route, I reached out to my friend and co-writer, Jay Allan. At that moment, stranded by the roadside, I told Jay, 'One day, we've got to write a song about a car that won't let you down and a boy who won't break your heart.' His immediate question: 'Liv, are you on the side of the road?' Surprisingly, that's how we wrote the entire song – over the phone! When it came time to add production, I knew I wanted to capture the essence of the four-way blinkers of my car, the beat we used while crafting this tune.
